A-JSS, A-016 – Junk Screen Sub
Junk Screen Sub provides a barrier over the Tie-Back Receptacle.
It acts as a cap over the TBR, which prevents debris and foreign material from entering the TBR that my hinder the operation of the Running Tools and prevents potential problems in tool retrieval due to Debris build up, inside the TBR.
The Junk Screen is retrieved along with the Running String of the Liner Hanger

- Reliable and effective, simple to maintain and installation
- Filters fluid drawn into tieback extension, reducing possibility of stuck setting tools due to settling debris
APPLICATIONS
- Cementing operations during Liner applications
- A liner top debris barrier is designed to prevent cuttings and other debris from entering the tieback extension, which could potentially settle out and stick the liner setting tool. The liner top debris barrier remains positioned in the top of the tieback extension until cementing is complete,
- Fluid go inside the tie back extension, avoiding possible collapse of the PBR.
