A-SCA, A-202-Swab Cup Assembly
The Swab Cup Assembly is particularly useful in applications where the liner does not require to be cemented, like slotted liner applications or running screens. Used in conjunction with a hydraulic Liner Hanger System.
The Swab Cups provide an effective seal below the setting ports, thereby allowing the liner hanger to be set and other tools requiring hydraulic pressure to be actuated. It effectively replaces the need for using a pack-off bushing for pressure isolation.
The Swab cups are reinforced with a metal skeleton, to ensure optimum performance even in challenging well conditions.
The A-SCA is run on the tail pipe below the setting tool and provides a thru bore.
Wire inserts cups are usually used. It let for repeatable expansion and contraction of swab cup elements. They are used in applications where continuous working of cup is required.
