DESCRIPTION
A-RPB, A-006 – Retrievable Pack Off-Bushing
The A-RPB is run with Liner Hanger systems and provides a pressure barrier between the work string and the liner. It remains locked in its position throughout the running and cementing operations. It also allows the liner-top packers to be pressure tested after setting.
The Retrievable Pack-Off Bushing consists of a body, locking lugs and seals. The Bushing sits in a machined profile in the Setting Adapter, Liner Top Packer, or Top Set Coupling and seals against the polished O.D. of the Slick Joint. The Slick Joint has recess on the polished OD which allows retrieval of the RPOB with the setting tool.
