Mechanical Rotating Running Tool
DESCRIPTION
A-MRT-R, A-301 – Mechanical Rotating Running Tool
The MRT-R is released from the liner by rotation. The tool allows torque to be transmitted to the string by means of a Clutch profile, making it suitable for drill down / reaming applications and with Rotating Liner Hangers, the liner can be rotated after setting during cementing as well. The machined clutch profile coupled with rotary tool joint connections, permit transmission of torque for Liner Rotation during running in and Drill Down applications.
The MRT-R is equipped with a Running Nut capturing mechanism. This feature ensures that the Nut does not re-engage with the Liner Hanger due to any residual torque. The tool is released mechanically by and placing the tool in compression and applying 15 right-hand turns.
The A-MRT-R can be used to run liner hanger systems with or without the Liner Top Packers
