DESCRIPTION
A-LWBC, A-125 Liner Wiper Plug with Ball Catcher
The Liner Wiper Plug (LWP) is used to separate cement and displacement fluids during cementing operations. The LWP is compatible with the Liner being hanged. The Plug feature anti-rotational Latch Profile that prevent the Plug from backing off and locks them in place to facilitate Drill out.
The LWP is shear pinned to the Shear adapter of the Slick Joint and has an ID to allow cement to pass thru. The Plug features an Integral Ball Seat against which the setting ball can be seated and the hydraulic pressure applied for subsequent applications. Increase in pressure shears the Ball Seat and it is contained with the Plug itself.
The Plug is manufactured from high-grade aluminum, allowing for easier drillout with a PDC bit.
