Tubing Anchor Catcher
DESCRIPTION
A-TAC, A-355 – Tubing Anchor Catcher
Tubing Anchor Catcher is mechanically actuated to anchor tubing string into the host casing. Acts as an anchor to the lower end of the tubing string to maintain tension in the tubing string and eliminates tubing movement during the pump cycle.
The use of an anchor increases pump efficiency, reduces rod and tubing wear, and keeps tubing and rods from falling into the well in case of a tubing part.
To set the Anchor Catcher rotate the tubing string to the left after reaching at the setting depth. Rotate right to release the Anchor Catcher.
