A-RRCS, A-154 – Rotating Reciprocating Casing Scrapper
A-RRCS Casing Scraper is designed to remove foreign matter and built up namely cement sheath, imbeds, perforation burrs, rust, mill scale etc. on the inside of the casing wall, to prepare a smooth I.D. for running and setting Packers and other equipment.
The Scraper consists of a solid one-piece Body, with recesses to secure the spring loaded Scraper Blades. Large bypass area facilitates circulation between the blades. Blades are secured in their individual recesses, which ensure uniform distribution of forces over the body.
The tool is provided with API rotary connections and can be run on the drill pipe and the tubing. The design allows for reciprocation as well as rotation if required and is easy to redress.
