A-JB, A-217 – Junk Basket for Debris
The A-JB Junk/Boot basket provides an easy and effective way to trap heavy cuttings during milling operations. The cuttings will fall out of the drilling fluid into the boot due to a reduction in annular velocity when the drilling fluid circulates across a reduced outer diameter of the boot basket.

- Removal boot for cuttings removal and body inspection
- A one piece body with integral lugs and rotary connections throughout the tool help provide uniform strength throughout the body
- Available in both open hole and cased hole lengths
- Lugs help protect the boot from getting snagged when re-entering the casing on open hole milling operations
- Body is designed to have a higher tensile yield strength, and buckling strength than the either the connections or work string.
- Available in various sizes to accommodate most milling situations
- Multiple Junk/boot baskets can be stacked to increase the volume of cuttings that can be caught
