A-HRP2, A-183 – Hydraulic Retrievable Packer-with Slip Cage
The A-HRP2 is a hydraulic set, double grip, retrievable packer with compact construction, making it particularly suitable for deviated wells and multi packer completions. The A-HRP2 does not require any mechanical manipulation of the production string to be set, making it optimal for situations where mechanical manipulation is not feasible and allowing for setting of the packer after installation of the wellhead.
The Packer is run to the desired depth and a predetermine pressure is applied to the packer which shears the shear pins and sets the Packer.
The Packer has an in-built pressure equalizing system, that helps equalize pressure differentials across the packer during retrieving.
The packer is release by straight pick up and applying an up strain to shear the screws.
