A-HRP9, A-438 – Cut to Release Hydraulic Set Packer
This premium cut to release production packer is a hydraulically set, double grip retrievable packer for use in vertical and deviated wells. The standard version is suitable for high-pressure, high temperature environments, also available for low-temperature use in subsea injection wells.
The packer does not require any mechanical manipulation of the production string to be set, making it optimal for situations where mechanical manipulation is not feasible and allowing for setting of the packer after installation of the wellhead.
The Packer is run to the desired depth and a predetermine pressure is applied to the packer which shears the shear pins and sets the Packer.
Retrieval of the packer is accomplished by cutting the mandrel via chemical or mechanical means and pulling the tubing string.
